Welcome to the Kellerjoch Hut - even higher!

2237m high above Schwaz - 21km east of Innsbruck

the alpine hut - on top - overlooking the Inn- and Zillertal at the entrance to the Tuxer Alps - facing the Karwendel region

Attention since September 20, 2024

Winter conditions are currently prevailing around the Kellerjoch.

We have used a path from the mountain station of the Kellerjochbahn to us, which is easy to reach! The other paths are currently still very snowy and not recommended. We have already reopened the hut and look forward to your visit!

Easiest access

you take the City bus to Pillberg/Grafenast, then you use the chairlift Kellerjoch to the Hecherhaus.

(the lift operates all weekends and holidays in May and June; then daily from 9thvof July till beginning of October; 8.45 - 12.30 pm and 1:30 - 4.30pm - closed on Mondays!)

Then hike following the signs via Naunz Stand (keep right, not straigt up) From Hecherhaus app. 60 minutes to the Kellerjochhuette.
